Keller Williams Realty Named Highest Ranked in Home Buyer Satisfaction
Provided By Keller Williams Realty
According to the J.D. Power and Associates 2010 Home Buyer/Seller StudySM, Keller Williams Realty, Inc., the third largest real estate company in the United States, has received the highest overall satisfaction ratings from home buyers among the largest full-service real estate firms for the third year in a row. The company also ranked second among home sellers in the study for the second year in a row.
“We are incredibly proud of our associates for earning this distinction and want to thank them for their commitment to their clients and communities," said Mark Willis, CEO of Keller Williams Realty. “We see this honor as demonstration of our company philosophy that it is the agent’s brand that matters most and no amount of money spent on advertising can replace the influence and reputations our agents have in their local communities. Our associates have earned this on their own, by building relationships in their communities."
The study was produced by J.D. Power and Associates to measure home buyers and sellers customer satisfaction. The results of the home-buying experience were determined by three factors including the buyer’s experience with their agent, the real estate office and a variety of additional services. Keller Williams Realty performed particularly well in the agent and office factors. And, overall satisfaction of buyers for the industry was up over last year.
Additionally, the study noted that the importance of real estate agents has increased substantially in the past year, with buyers and sellers relying on the negotiating skills of their chosen agent and help in navigating the market.
“It is thrilling to see our firm, once again, get public recognition for its incredible focus on customer satisfaction from such a prestigious group. Our associates continually demonstrate that it is possible to deliver the highest level of customer service in one of the toughest real estate markets on record," said Mary Tennant, president and COO of Keller Williams Realty. “We feel incredibly fortunate to be in business with them, and want to congratulate them on their hard work and dedication."
In the past year, Keller Williams Realty has continued to grow despite the well-publicized turmoil in the real estate industry. In addition to becoming the 3rd largest real estate company in the U.S., surpassing RE/MAX®, Keller Williams Realty was ranked as the No. 1 real estate franchise on the 31st Annual Franchise 500 list by Entrepreneur magazine and was voted the Most Recognizable Brand of Real Estate Franchises and the Trendsetter of the year for 2009 in an industry-wide survey for the Swanepoel TRENDS Report.

MAPS Gives Back
When production and profits ABSOLUTELY MATTER.
My Dear KW Family,
In July of 2009, we launched our first official BOLD program in 11 locations.
Since that day, more than $30,000 has been raised and donated to KW Cares by MAPS BOLD participants and MAPS Coaching.
This month, we begin the second round of BOLD across the U.S. and Canada, and we know that once again we will witness the tremendous generosity that will aide our KW family members when they need it the most.
When you add this to the countless thousands of dollars that have been raised through MAPS programs throughout our annual events – Mega Camp, Masterminds, Coaches’ Skills Camps and more – the impact that you have made is truly incredible.
We are constantly reminded that to whom much is given; much is expected, and we continue to be grateful and humbled by your passion for your fellow KW family and your capacity to give.
We ask that you keep KW Cares in your mind as MAPS does every time you attend one of our events or being in our coaching programs.
On behalf of both the MAPS team and KW Cares, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May we all become BOLD so that we may give boldly.
Yours in gratitude,
Dianna Kokoszka, President of MAPS Coaching

Keller Williams comes out on top
Congratulations! The Wall Street Journal / LORE Top 400* survey results were just released and once again Keller Williams Realty illustrated why we are continuing to outpace the industry. The report breaks down categories and rankings by individual agents and teams.
In 2009, Keller Williams Realty had:
Six additional associates ranked among the top 50 agents by transaction sides.
1,048 percent more transactions from the year before compared to an average increase of 31 percent for Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Prudential and REMAX combined.
Among the top 50 teams for total sides:
Keller Williams ranked second with 11 teams.
Those 11 teams had an impressive increase of 25 percent in transaction sides from the year before.
Keller Williams was the only company that posted an increase for two years in a row.
*The list is based on a survey of independently verified submissions to determine the top real estate professionals in the United States. REAL Trends states that it is the only independent study of its kind.

Keller Williams Realty Bucks National Business Trends During the Toughest Real Estate Market on Record
RISMEDIA, January 29, 2009-Bailout. Credit crunch. Foreclosure. Despite these words permeating the headlines and airwaves, there are companies out there moving forward - even in real estate. Keller Williams® Realty Inc., the fourth largest real estate company in North America, announced that it outpaced the market in 2008, while remaining free of debt, and gave back more than $30 million in profits to its agents.
“Our strategy is no secret. We faithfully follow the sound financial model of leading with revenue - the same model our market centers follow,” said Mark Willis, CEO of Keller Williams Realty Inc. “As we watch companies throughout the country take on billions of dollars of debt, we are proud to say that our company has not one dollar of financing debt and we remain strong and financially sound. It is our joy to be able to give back to our agents during these times.”
Despite pervasive downward trends in the real estate industry, Keller Williams Realty continues to outperform the industry. For the first 11 months of 2008, existing home sales for the United States fell 17% when compared to the same period the year before. By comparison, Keller Williams Realty is poised to outdo those numbers by 10 percentage points, and in addition, the company experienced a much smaller contraction in its agent base compared to the National Association of REALTORS®, who saw a 10% decline in membership.
“Keller Williams was founded 25 years ago during one of the toughest markets on record - when interest rates were higher than 18 percent. We continue to urge our agents to zero in on lead generation and reducing expenses so they can thrive during this market,” said Mary Tennant, president and COO of Keller Williams Realty Inc. “We admire our agents’ spirit, tenacity, and dedication to their businesses. They just keep powering forward.”
Throughout 2008 Keller Williams Realty launched new products and services specifically to boost its agents’ businesses, including two new books: Your First Home: The Proven Path to Home Ownership for first-time home buyers, and SHIFT: How Top Real Estate Agents Tackle Tough Times. Both books are written by Gary Keller, co-founder and chairman of the board of Keller Williams Realty, who also authored national best sellers The Millionaire Real Estate Agent and The Millionaire Real Estate Investor.
